Obama proves it — Persuasion Matters
Whether or not they like him, pundits, writers, critics, and next door neighbors are all saying the same thing about Barack…he’s a powerful speaker. Here’s a clip from the Democratic convention.
From the moment Barack Obama took the dais as the keynote speaker at the Democratic convention and told a classic American story of hope, striving and opportunity he grabbed national media attention as a rising star in the Democratic Party. His powerful speech abandoned political rhetoric, standing out like the only breath of fresh air in the stagnant, crowded political locker room that day.
He didn’t speak of race or civil rights or a struggle for equality. Instead, he, spoke of ‘’one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the United States of America.'’ Some lines such as, ‘There’s not a liberal America and a conservative America. There’s the United States of America.'’ touched hearts and minds, drawing rousing applause, moving some to tears…and inspiring hope for the future of all Americans. Watch the video clip of that event above and you’ll see why this happened.
That was just the beginning. Now the media covering the Obama campaign write and talk about overflow crowds, people standing in lines to hear him, supporters coming from unlikely places. It’s become the Obama phemonena.
So why is he such a powerful speaker? What makes him different than others competing for a place in political history? Is it his persuasive speaking style, or the words he uses…or what?
One thing is certain. He’s a master of persuasive communication. Something else is just as certain — the ability to verbally persuade and influence others can make a huge difference in your success as well.
We aren’t all going to pursue our piece of the American pie by giving blockbuster speeches. However, we will communicate with others in everyday conversations. Those conversations will often need to influence, inspire and persuade others to do something. They need to be persuasive conversations.
So, how do you have “persuasive” conversations? What makes a conversation persuasive? What works in everyday conversations? What doesn’t? There are a lot of books and courses available today. And, like all things commercial, some are better than others. Some are just plain awful, created by amateurs regurgitating the work of others. Some stand head and shoulders above the rest. Often they are very, very expensive.
A newly released course called The Power Conversational Hypnosis is among those that stand above the rest. It was created by Igor Ledochowski, a man who is relatively unknown to Americans, In Europe, he’s highly regarded in his field. You’ll find more information about him at the bottom of this article. Igor charges $7,000 a day for personal consultations, but he’s made this digital version available for under $200. That’s less than one-third the cost of the same material in CD’s and printed form.
Here’s a brief snapshot of what he’s made available.
Please, don’t let the word “hypnosis” in the title throw you off. True, Igor is a hypnotist. He also runs specialized Master Classes, training hypnotherapists in advanced skills, for professional hypnotherapists’ bodies like the London College of Clinical Hypnosis or the Hypnotherapy Association. He’s a professional practitioner. He also understands that the title of his course is important to selling his course.
My suggestion to you… go here and try it. If you don’t believe it delivers…if for any reason, or for no reason at all, you aren’t completely satisfied within 8 entire weeks you get a complete refund of what you paid for the course.
Live long, love life and be well.
Harold
P.S. This isn’t one of those courses that talks the theory. Not at all. The Power Conversational Hypnosis includes step-by-step exercises that walk you through taking what you’ve just heard or read and putting it to work for you. Powerful stuff.
